The Line of Appia is a minor knightly family found in the north of the Empire, mostly in Gad. Men of the Appia family are styled Appian, with nicknames to distinguish them. Women of the Appia family are styled Appenina.
The original Appia fought in the Eloesian wars during the early days of the Empire.
