Humans most often encounter tommyknockers in the Eldenwood. They are excellent climbers and are named for their way of communicating: knocking on trees. They have oversized fists, which they can awkwardly walk on. They love strangling passersby, then draining the body of its energy.
By day, tommyknockers live in hollowed-out homes in the trunks of ironwood trees. By night, they fling themselves from tree to tree, hunting for easy prey. Once prey is spotted, the tommyknocker will knock on the tree, calling its friends in for an ambush.
